|Title||Activity using "Children's Games", 1550 by Brueghel (Ages 10-11, gr.5) , Colonial Period|
This is part of a collection of game/activities designed to be used in gr. 5 to help students experience what it was like to be a child in those times. For example, how did they spend their leisure time? These provide a window into the customs of that period.
There is an 8 and 1/2 by 11 inch poster on orange card stock which displays a picture of the copy of the 1550 print and a quote from George Washinton's Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior. Refer also to # 008.050.22 which is the accession number for the actual print this poster is describing.
On the back is a pink index card which gives background of the painting and materials needed for this activity.
